FTP downloading (copying files from our servers to your computer using an FTP program) is calculated as part of your total bandwidth for the month, as shown on your account usage page. Most customers don't do much, if any, FTP downloading.
FTP uploading (copying files from your computer to our servers when you publish your Web site) is almost always free (that is, not counted as part of your normal bandwidth usage). There's just one possible exception: We reserve the right to charge our standard outgoing bandwidth fees if you use an automated uploading system to continually upload and replace webcam images or other files more often than once a minute. We'd contact you and give you a chance to modify your script before we charged you anything extra, of course.
