How do I update my credit card?

You can update the credit card we have on file for your Web hosting account at any time.

• Login to the customer control panel. This is a secure, SSL encrypted connection.
• Click Billing and Contact Information
• Click Update Credit Card

The credit card number you enter will be used for future Web hosting charges, as well as any currently outstanding balance.

What if I prefer to provide my credit card information by phone?

You can update your credit card information by phone during our normal business hours. See our contact page for the phone number and hours.

How secure is my credit card information?

We take extensive steps to ensure that your credit card information is completely safe with us.

Any Web page that allows you to enter your credit card number is protected by SSL security encryption. Just as importantly, your full credit card number is PGP (GPG) encrypted before being saved, and is never stored on any system in plain text form under any circumstances. (The last four digits of the card number that you may see on some of our billing screens are stored separately from the encrypted full card number.)

The passwords required to decrypt your credit card information and charge your card are known to only a small handful of longtime Tiger Technologies employees, and are not written down anywhere or stored on any computers. In the unlikely event a hacker did somehow break into our accounting systems, the information they obtained would be useless without the passwords.

We're confident that this system, in addition to other security measures we have in place, ensures that your credit card data remains safe no matter what happens.
