How do I change or reset the password for a Mailman mailing list?
You can change or reset a Mailman mailing list password using the account management control panel. (You don't need to know the current list password to change it, so you can do this even if you have forgotten the existing password.)
To change a mailing list password:
- Login to the account management control panel
- Click E-Mail Options
- Click Edit to the right of the list name
- Scroll down to the section titled Lost Your Password?
- Enter the new password in both boxes and press the Reset Password button
In some cases; it may take up to two minutes for the password change to take effect. If it doesn't seem that the password has been changed, wait two minutes and try logging in again.
