Customers occasionally ask if there’s any way to view an email password that has previously been used on their iPhone or iPad (possibly because they want to enter that same password on a new device or computer).

Unfortunately, there’s no way to extract a working password that’s been saved in the device’s Mail app directly. However, if you’ve previously used the password on our webmail pages (either from a Mac or your device), the “Settings” app on your device may have it stored.

A quick way to see if the webmail password is stored is to ask your iPhone:

“Hey Siri, what’s my webmail password?”

If it shows you a list of accounts, click the one from “tigertech.net” (if there’s only one match, it will show it to you directly). Click the password dots to show the real password.

If this doesn’t work, you can try it another way: Tap Settings on your device, then tap Passwords. Then search for tigertech.net at the top of the page, which may show a list of one or more matches. (You can also try typing your email address, but that might also show you unrelated services that use the same email address.) Then just tap the account you want to see the password for. Click the password dots to show the real password.
