CGI scripts are automatically enabled for all accounts. You can install and use CGI scripts at any time without prior permission.

The one exception is that you do need to get our permission before sending email from a script to ensure that the script meets our anti-spam standards.

Keep in mind that if you're installing a script into the cgi-bin folder (directory), you will need to create that folder the first time you use it. You can create the cgi-bin directory the same way that you would create any other directory on your website: for example, your FTP program probably offers a command called something like "Create New Folder".
