There are two ways to create a website on our service.

The simpler one is to install WordPress for your site. If you do that, the only tool you’ll need is a Web browser.

The other way is to create a website (“HTML files”) on your own computer (perhaps using a software program like Dreamweaver or iWeb), then publish those files — that is, copy the files from your computer to our servers. Publishing your files is also called “uploading”.

If you choose the publishing method, you’ll need to use an FTP program to put the files on our servers. For more details, please see our help topic about FTP programs.
