How do I publish (upload) Web site files from my computer to your servers?

When you create your Web site, you'll need to publish your Web site files — that is, to move the files from your computer to our servers. Publishing your files is also called "uploading".

How you'll publish your files depends on which Web design program you use:

  • If you own and use the Microsoft FrontPage Web design program, it includes a built-in publishing system: see our FrontPage help topics for more information.
  • All other customers (those who don't use FrontPage) will use an FTP program to publish files. For more details, please see our help topic about FTP programs.
