The Spark email program for macOS works with our servers. If you’re new to Spark, just launch the program and it will automatically ask for your email address:

After you enter the email address and click Next, it will ask you for your name and email password. Enter those as:

Your name:(Your real name)
Email Address:address@example.com
Password:(your email password)

It should look like this:

IMAP/SMTP server

Then click Add. In most cases, Spark will automatically detect the rest of the settings, and that’s all it takes.

If you need to enter settings manually

If Spark somehow doesn’t automatically detect the correct settings, you can click Additional Settings and enter these settings manually:

Email:address@example.com
Inbox server (IMAP)
Username:address@example.com (all lowercase)
Password:(your email password)
Server:mail.tigertech.net
Port:993
Protection:SSL
Outbox server (SMTP)
Username:address@example.com (all lowercase)
Password:(your email password)
Server:mail.tigertech.net
Port:587
Protection:STARTTLS

It should look like this:

Additional settings

After entering those settings, click Add.

If you already have an email address in Spark

If you already have an email address in Spark and want to add a second one, do this to get to the settings:

  1. Click the Spark menu at the top of the screen
  2. Choose Add Account...
  3. Click Set Up Account Manually

You’ll then be at the window shown at the top of this page.
