"Internet Listing Service" Scam
A company named Internet Listing Service (ILSCORP.NET) is sending misleading "Annual Website Search Engine Listing" invoices to domain name owners via postal (paper) mail.
These invoices are scams. You don't need to pay for basic search engine listings. Please see our search engine page for more information.
What you should do
If you receive one of these "invoices":
First of all, don't pay this company (or any other company that sends you an unsolicited invoice for search engine services). You don't need to pay for basic search engine listings.
Secondly, pass this warning on to your accounting department or person who normally pays your invoices, to make sure they aren't taken in by it.
Finally, if you're in the United States, you can file a complaint with the FTC and/or your state's Attorney General.
