How secure is my credit card information?

We take extensive steps to ensure that your credit card information is completely safe.

Any Web page that allows you to enter your credit card number is protected by SSL security encryption. Just as importantly, your full credit card number is never stored on any system in plain text form under any circumstances. (The last four digits of the card number that you can see on some of our billing pages are stored separately from the encrypted full card number.)

The passwords required to decrypt your credit card information and charge your card are known to only a small handful of longtime Tiger Technologies employees, and are not written down anywhere or stored on any computers. In the unlikely event a hacker did somehow break into our accounting systems, the encrypted information they obtained would be useless without the passwords.

We’re confident that this system, in addition to other security measures we have in place, ensures that your credit card data remains safe no matter what happens.
