What makes our service so reliable? First of all, our servers are housed in a secure data center in Silicon Valley. The data center provides extremely reliable network, power and cooling services. For example, the combination of industrial UPS battery backup and emergency generators with guaranteed refueling contracts means we can withstand indefinite power outages. Redundant N+2 air conditioning units keep our servers cool, and the seismically reinforced, single-story secure building provides strong earthquake protection.
Our network connectivity includes redundant 10 gigabit Ethernet fiber ring connections to the MAE-WEST and Equinix interchange points in Silicon Valley, as well as OC48 or better circuits to NYIIX in New York, AADS in Chicago, Equinix Ashburn in Virginia, and PAIX in Palo Alto, CA. Our network speed, latency and reliability are unsurpassed.
Unlike many hosting companies, we own our own servers, so we can fix any problems without waiting for others. We use only name-brand SuperMicro servers with dual hyperthreaded Xeon processors running at 2.4 GHz or higher. All servers have 4 GB RAM, with ECC memory and RAID 1 disk arrays to guard against hardware problems. We also keep spare "hot standby" servers on site at the data center, allowing us to quickly replace any server with a hardware failure.
Both onsite and offsite backups are made daily.
We're so sure our service is reliable that we guarantee complete satisfaction: If your Web site and e-mail service are not available at least 99.9% of the time in any given month, or if you're dissatisfied in any other way, just let us know you're not satisfied and we'll promptly give you a full credit for the problem, with no quibbling.
